phew...it's almost over.

what a day.
started dinner in crockpot.
homeschooled REALLY early.
worked with sis on script.
painted trim, 2 coats.
countertop guys came to fix things, so we can put stove in.
went thrifting with the kids.
stopped for ice cream.
made pasta on MY OWN STOVE.
home alone with the kids, nick at back to school night.
watching the real housewives of bh on hulu.
kind of lame.

good, busy day.
yesterday - 50,ooo times busier.
and heading to santa barbara friday.
busy, busy, busy times.

charlie's find at the thrift store #1.
luke found a soldier's uniform for dress-ups.
i found a globe (go to house blog to check it out)

don't ask me why she's wearing it that high, or with a vest.
she's a funny one.
sigh.

kids are weird...

luke dug through his cousin sebastian's hand me downs yesterday morning.
he promptly put on the "spy clothes" -
(aka: fleece top and bottoms and complete ski bibs).
he had the jacket on as well for most of the morning and i made him take that off pretty quick -
but as for the rest -
HE WORE THEM ALL DAY LONG -
except when he went to jui-jitsu for an hour.
but no worries,
he promptly returned and put them right on.
weirdo.

thanks aunt kathy and sebastian.
it was much appreciated.
he is currently sporting a head to toe "skull/pirate" theme.
we love your pass-alongs.
they are always the favorites.

love her.

i've had a strange weekend.
it was nothing i expected, yet the work got done.
act 1 completed day 1, page 50 completed day 2.
60 more pages to go.
will finish the new script this week.
and bonus, the kids got to go camping at papa ray's with their cousins.
so, between my ample brain exercise and their physical exertions -
and daddy having to chase them around all weekend...
we're all pretty darn tired.
i'll check back tomorrow.
