so, remember when i had some pics blown up on drafting paper?

and ended up framing one and hanging it up -
(and falling in love with it)
but then i had all the other trial pics to deal with...
lucky for me, i also had a poorly spray painted bulletin board that needed to be covered.
(nick was refusing to take it off the wall so soon after putting it up)
so, while it's not the canvas and nailhead trimmed dream board that i envisioned -
i sure do like it.

it's not forever.
but it's been fun for right now.
thoughts?
likey?

i LOVE it! i wish i could do something similar.
oh i love these!!! that is such a great shot, brilliant idea.
Really great space you've created with all the prints! Love!
This is SO beautiful! Dreamy, dreamy, dream. I want my life to look like this.
I'm so confused. I read your post about simplifying life and reducing clutter etc. by regularly pruning back the "things" but finding you need so much of it(I picture the characters from Labyrinth with all their kipple on their backs...ANYWAY...you had me, right there, nodding in agreement, going, "Uhuh, completely. My house isn't a magazine, we live here. But I try to weed out the waste, I do!" I was practically high fiving your post.
Then I saw this.
And I was reminded you are from those magazines. Hush, you! :P
no worries - this is cleaned up for gabrielle over at design mom...most of our house is forever covered in kid's art and sewing projects and books and crusts of bread (sigh)...but as much as i love those crazy people that can live in those minimal houses with two toys and a pen and paper - it's not me. i want my kids to do art and sew and cook bread with me...and all that stuff takes stuff...but at the end of the day, if we had to walk away from it all...in a heartbeat - because what matters is our family, not our things...it's a forever debate - isn't it?!
your home or bits of it has this clean, functional, simple yet aesthetically pleasing feel. I love what you did with the photo prints,i might steal your idea. where did you have it blown out?
fedex office (aka kinkos :) - and it's not one of their big printers - it's off near the computers and comes out in seconds...so quick and easy. and lots of sizes and no matter what the person behind the counter says - the detail is fantastic (well, depending on the original file of course) best of luck!!!
